Norito Shinmura
Born into a fishing family as the youngest of eight siblings.
When he was a fourth grader,
he discovered the appeal of poster design through
the classes of his new teacher, Tetsuyuki Ito.
This experience led him to pursue a career as a designer.
After tenure Shin Matsunaga Design and I&S/BBDO,
established Shinmura Design Office in 1995.
In 2021, the company name was changed to "garden"
His main clients are SHISEIDO and MUJI.
